Bermuda Cruise May 2015

We flew to Baltimore to start our cruise to Bermuda on the Royal Caribbean, Grandeur of the Seas.

Cruising out through Chesapeake Bay.

When we started to explore the ship, Cathy found this bottle of liquor for sale. Yes, that's dollars!

Our first and only sunset on the ship. It was cloudy the other nights except when we were in port.

 Our spacious cabin.

Cabin Stewart towel designs with help from Zach's sunglasses.

Cruising by Fort St Catherine between the land and the reef on our way to port at the Royal Naval Dockyard.

The Royal Naval Dockyard, our only port of call. We were here three days. Lots of time to explore Bermuda.

The National Museum of Bermuda. Inside The Keep.

The Commissioner's House at The Keep.

The streets around the Dockyard.

The Clock Tower.

A short walk to Sea Glass Beach. There was a glass manufacturing factory in this area and this beach is all that remains of it's existence.

Real phone booths still exist.

On the ferry ride from the Dockyard to St George.

St George historic district.

Tobacco Bay. On the road to Fort St Catherine.

Fort St Catherine.

The Unfinished Church.

St Peter's, their Majesties Chappell. Established 1612.

Reenactment of the "dunking of the nag." Cameo appearance by Zach.

Reward for Zach's hard work at the "dunking."

Bus ride to Hamilton.

Cathedral of the Most Holy Trinity, Hamilton.

Sessions House, the Bermuda Parliament.

Fort Hamilton.

Front Street, Hamilton.

Gibbs Hill Lighthouse.

Horseshoe Bay.

Returning to the ship the last day on Bermuda.

Never seen one of these before!

One of the things we liked to do on ship was play trivia. We played 4 or 5 games most days. The people in this picture with us, Mark and Julie and Gerry and Michele asked us to join their trivia team on the first day of the cruise. We were the progressive trivia champions of the cruise!
